The LM39302 is a dual 500mA adjustable LDO from TI in VSSOP-10, with each channel independently enabled and adjustable. Each channel uses a PMOS pass transistor with an error amplifier that compares the feedback voltage at the ADJ pin with an internal 1.25V reference. The output voltage is set by an external resistor divider: VOUT = 1.25V x (1 + R1/R2). The dropout voltage is 200mV at 500mA per channel. Each channel can be enabled/disabled independently via the EN1/EN2 pins. When disabled, the output is discharged through an internal 500-ohm pulldown resistor, ensuring a clean shutdown. The two channels share a common ground but have separate input supplies (IN1, IN2), allowing each channel to operate from a different input voltage. This is useful for sequencing: Channel 1 can provide a 1.8V core supply from 3.3V, while Channel 2 provides a 1.2V I/O supply from the same 3.3V, with Channel 2 enabled only after Channel 1 is stable (using a resistor divider from OUT1 to EN2). Current limiting is set at 800mA typical per channel. Thermal shutdown occurs at 160C.
