The STM32F051K6T6 uses the ARM Cortex-M0 32-bit RISC core, a 3-stage pipeline processor optimized for low-cost embedded applications. The Nested Vectored Interrupt Controller (NVIC) handles interrupts with minimal latency. The bus matrix connects the core to Flash (32 KB), SRAM (8 KB with parity), and peripherals through AHB and APB buses. The 12-bit ADC converts analog signals in 1 µs with up to 13 channels, while the 12-bit DAC generates analog output voltages. The touch sensing controller (TSC) acquires capacitive sensing channels by charging/discharging through the sampling capacitor and measuring charge transfer, enabling touchkey, linear slider, and rotary encoder functions without external components. The advanced-control timer TIM1 provides up to 7 PWM outputs with complementary outputs, dead-time insertion, and emergency stop for motor drive applications.
