The DMN2004TK-7 is a quad N-channel MOSFET array from Diodes Inc. in SOP-16, containing four independent enhancement-mode N-channel MOSFETs. Each MOSFET is rated at 30V VDS, 0.6A ID, with typical RDS(on) of 700mOhm at VGS=4V and 500mOhm at VGS=10V. The four MOSFETs share no connections internally (isolated drains and independent gates/sources), providing maximum flexibility in circuit design. This is in contrast to the popular DMN2004UDM (dual), which shares a common source. The quad array configuration is particularly useful for: (1) Driving four relays or solenoids from a single IC package; (2) Replacing four discrete SOT-23 MOSFETs with one SOP-16, saving PCB area; (3) LED matrix row/column driving; (4) General-purpose low-side switching of four independent loads. The 30V rating allows use in 12V and 24V systems with margin. The 0.6A current rating per channel is suitable for small relays (5-10V coil), indicator LEDs, and small DC motors. The gate threshold voltage (Vth) is 1.0-2.0V, allowing 3.3V logic to turn on the MOSFETs, though with higher RDS(on) than at 5V or 10V VGS. The SOP-16 package provides approximately 120C/W thermal resistance per MOSFET, and total package dissipation should not exceed 1W. The -7 suffix specifies tape-and-reel packaging.
