The AD8601ARTZ-REEL is a single rail-to-rail I/O precision operational amplifier from Analog Devices in SOT-23-5, with 3.9MHz gain-bandwidth product and 80uV typical input offset voltage. The DigiTrim trimming technology achieves the low offset without laser trimming, reducing cost. The input stage uses a patented architecture that eliminates the crossover distortion common in conventional rail-to-rail input stages. Traditional RR input stages use complementary N-channel/P-channel pairs, which cause offset voltage shifts when the input common-mode voltage transitions between the N-channel and P-channel operating regions. The AD8601 avoids this by using a single input pair with a charge-pump-boosted supply that extends the common-mode range beyond the rails. The rail-to-rail output stage swings within 50mV of the rails with a 10k-ohm load. The 3.9MHz GBW and 4.0V/us slew rate support active filters up to 200kHz and signal conditioning at moderate frequencies. Supply current is 850uA per amplifier. The low offset voltage (80uV typical, 500uV max) makes it suitable for precision DC applications. Offset voltage drift is 1uV/C typical. The device operates from 2.7V to 5.5V, making it ideal for single-cell Li-Ion or 3.3V systems. The -REEL suffix indicates tape-and-reel packaging for automated assembly.
