The STM32F302RCT6 from STMicroelectronics is a mainstream mixed-signal microcontroller based on the high-performance ARM Cortex-M4 32-bit RISC core with floating-point unit (FPU) operating at a frequency of up to 72 MHz. The device embeds 256 Kbytes of Flash memory and 40 Kbytes of SRAM with hardware parity check on the first 16 Kbytes. The STM32F302RCT6 integrates a rich set of analog peripherals including two fast 12-bit ADCs (5 Msps) with selectable resolution of 12/10/8/6 bits and differential input capability, one 12-bit DAC channel, four rail-to-rail analog comparators, and two operational amplifiers that can be configured in programmable gain amplifier (PGA) mode with all terminals accessible. The advanced-control timer with complementary PWM outputs, dead-time generation, and emergency stop makes this device particularly well-suited for motor control applications. The STM32F302RCT6 operates as a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller with integrated mixed-signal peripherals. The Cortex-M4 core with FPU supports single-precision floating-point operations compliant with IEEE 754, enabling efficient DSP algorithm implementation. The dual ADCs use a switched-capacitor successive approximation architecture sampling at up to 5 Msps. The comparators provide rail-to-rail input with programmable hysteresis and output filtering.
