The PIC24FJ128GC006-I/PT from Microchip is a 16-bit microcontroller from the PIC24F GC010 family featuring the most integrated analog subsystem in the PIC24F portfolio. The device includes a 16-bit Sigma-Delta ADC with 2 differential channels for precision measurement, a 12-bit pipeline ADC with 50 input channels at up to 10 MSPS for high-speed sampling, two 10-bit DACs at 1 MSPS, two operational amplifiers, and three comparators, creating a complete analog signal chain on-chip. The USB 2.0 Full-Speed interface supports Device, Host, and OTG modes with crystal-less operation using Active Clock Tuning. A 196-segment LCD driver with integrated charge pump supports displays up to 59 segments x 8 commons. The eXtreme Low Power (XLP) technology provides 18nA Deep Sleep current, 350nA RTCC operation on VBAT, and 180uA/MHz Run mode current. Peripheral Pin Select (PPS) allows flexible remapping of digital peripheral functions. The device also includes a Charge Time Measurement Unit (CTMU) for capacitive touch sensing and precision time measurement.

(3) 12-bit Pipeline ADC: The 10 MSPS pipeline ADC uses a multi-stage architecture with sample-and-hold, enabling high-speed sequential scanning of up to 50 analog inputs. This ADC is ideal for waveform capture and multi-channel monitoring. (4) DAC: The two 10-bit resistor-string DACs provide analog output at up to 1 MSPS. Combined with the on-chip op-amps, they can generate buffered analog signals for control or calibration. (5) LCD Driver: The internal charge pump generates the LCD bias voltages from a single supply, supporting up to 196 segments across 8 commons without external components.
