The device features rail-to-rail input and output operation, 140dB CMRR, 15nV/sqrtHz voltage noise at 1kHz, and 2.5MHz gain-bandwidth product. The 5.5V/us slew rate and +/-65mA output current make it suitable for driving moderate loads. The device supports differential input voltage to the supply rails without phase reversal, and can drive up to 1nF capacitive loads without oscillation. The 140uA per-channel quiescent current minimizes power dissipation in high-voltage applications. The SOT-23-5 package provides the smallest footprint for single op-amp precision applications. EMI/RFI filtered inputs reduce susceptibility to electromagnetic interference in industrial environments.

The OPA191IDBVT is a precision CMOS operational amplifier using e-trim technology. (1) e-Trim: The offset voltage is trimmed during final wafer test using electronic fuses that adjust internal trim networks, achieving +/-5uV typical without the complexity and cost of laser trimming. (2) Rail-to-Rail Input: A complementary input stage uses both P-channel and N-channel differential pairs. The P-channel pair operates for common-mode voltages near the negative rail, while the N-channel pair operates near the positive rail. In the transition region, both pairs are active and their offsets partially cancel. (3) Rail-to-Rail Output: The output stage uses a common-source configuration that can swing to within 5mV of either supply rail at light loads. (4) EMI Filtering: Internal low-pass filters on the input pins reject high-frequency electromagnetic interference, reducing the output offset shift caused by rectified RF signals. (5) Differential Input Protection: The device allows differential input voltages up to the supply rails without damage or phase reversal, a common failure mode in legacy op-amps.
