The FGH40T120SMDL4 is a trench field stop igbt, 1200v, 40a, co-packaged diode, vce(sat)=1.8v, kelvin emitter manufactured by onsemi. This device is housed in a TO-247-4 (带开尔文发射极) package and operates across a -55°C ~ +175°C. The component meets industry standards for reliability and is suitable for demanding applications.

The IGBT combines the gate-drive characteristics of a MOSFET with the high-current, low-saturation-voltage capability of a bipolar transistor. Applying a positive gate-emitter voltage creates an inversion layer, enabling current flow from collector to emitter. The field stop layer reduces overall device thickness, lowering Vce(sat) while maintaining blocking capability. The co-packaged anti-parallel diode provides reverse conduction path for inductive loads.
