Unlike traditional optocouplers that use light and LEDs, iCoupler devices provide better performance with lower power consumption, higher data rates, and more stable timing characteristics over temperature and lifetime. The device provides 5000 Vrms isolation for one minute, meeting the requirements of medical and industrial safety standards. The 3/1 channel configuration (3 channels in one direction, 1 in the reverse) is ideal for SPI bus isolation where SCLK, MOSI, and CS go from master to slave while MISO returns from slave to master.
