The SGM2019-1.5YC5G/TR is a 1.5V 150mA LDO from SGMICRO in SC-70-5 with low output noise of 30uVrms (10Hz-100kHz). It uses a PMOS pass transistor with current-mode feedback: the error amplifier compares a divided-down VOUT with the internal bandgap reference (1.0V), and drives the PMOS gate to regulate the output. The PMOS architecture provides low ground current (65uA typical) that does not increase with load current. Dropout voltage is 150mV at 150mA, allowing operation from a 2.5V input to deliver 1.5V output. The EN pin (active HIGH, internal pull-up) enables the output when left floating, and pulls it LOW to shut down with 0.1uA quiescent current. The output capacitor requirement is relaxed: a 1uF ceramic capacitor is sufficient for stability, and any capacitor type (X5R, X7R, Y5V) can be used. PSRR is 65dB at 1kHz. The SC-70-5 footprint (2.0×1.25mm) is one of the smallest available for an LDO with enable pin. Typical applications include DDR memory termination, core voltage regulation for MCUs, and portable device power management.
