The PFMF.110.2 from SCHURTER is a 6VDC polymeric PTC resettable fuse with 1.1A hold current in a compact 1812 SMD package for USB and low-voltage circuit protection.

Below 1.1A the PTC presents low resistance (40m ohm min). When overcurrent exceeds 2.2A, the polymeric material self-heats causing a phase transition that dramatically increases resistance to 210m ohm max, limiting current. When the fault clears and the device cools, it automatically resets.
