This trimming ensures +/-1% initial accuracy. 2) Error Amplifier: The error amplifier continuously compares the feedback voltage with the reference and drives the pass transistor to maintain regulation. The loop compensation is designed for stability with a minimum 10uF output capacitor. 3) Protection Circuits: Current limiting protects the pass element from excessive current, while the thermal shutdown circuit disables the output when the junction temperature exceeds approximately 160°C, preventing device damage from overheating.
