The TI TPS7A4700RGWR is a 1A ultra-low-noise LDO with adjustable 0.8V to 34V output in a 3.5×3.5mm VQFN-20 package. With 4.17uVrms output noise and 72dB PSRR, it is TI’s highest-performance LDO for the most demanding precision analog, RF, and test/measurement applications where supply noise directly limits system accuracy and dynamic range.

The TPS7A4700RGWR uses an advanced CMOS LDO architecture with a low-noise bandgap reference and high-gain error amplifier. The NR/SS pin allows an external capacitor to filter reference noise and control soft-start. The external bias (BIAS) pin enables the internal LDO that drives the gate of the pass transistor, reducing dropout voltage below 200mV. The power-good (PG) output provides output voltage monitoring. The 4.17uVrms noise is achieved through careful circuit design, layout, and the NR capacitor filtering mechanism.
