The PIC32MX575F512L-80I/PT is a high-performance 32-bit microcontroller from Microchip Technology based on the MIPS32 M4K core running at 80MHz (105 DMIPS). It integrates 512KB Flash, 64KB RAM, dual CAN 2.0B controllers, a 10/100 Ethernet MAC, USB 2.0 OTG, and a 10-bit 1Msps ADC with 16 channels. The Parallel Master Port (PMP) supports 8/16-bit parallel interface to external memory, LCDs, and other peripherals. Five DMA channels offload data transfers from the CPU. The I-grade is rated for -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range. The 64-pin TQFP package provides 53 GPIOs with 5V-tolerant input capability on most pins.

The PIC32MX575F512L-80I/PT uses the MIPS32 M4K 5-stage pipeline core with 32×32-bit register file, hardware multiply (1 cycle), and hardware divide (11-33 cycles). The core fetches instructions from Flash through a 4-way set-associative cache that reduces wait states. The bus matrix connects the CPU to Flash, RAM, and peripherals through separate buses for instructions and data (Harvard architecture). The interrupt controller supports 96 interrupt vectors with 4 priority levels and shadow register sets for ultra-low latency ISR entry. The DMA controller handles 5 independent data transfers between peripherals and memory without CPU intervention. The CAN modules implement the full CAN 2.0B protocol with 8 message buffers each and support for CAN FD on newer revisions. The Ethernet MAC implements the IEEE 802.3 MAC layer with MII/RMII interface to an external PHY, and includes hardware checksum calculation for TCP/UDP/IP. The USB OTG module includes the full-speed PHY and supports host, device, and OTG modes with built-in pull-up/pull-down resistors.
