The NCP4681SN33T1G from onsemi is a 150mA LDO providing 3.3V output in a SOT-89-3 package. It features ultra-low dropout and high PSRR, making it ideal for noise-sensitive portable and computing applications.

The LDO uses a PMOS pass element controlled by an error amplifier. The amplifier compares a fraction of the output voltage with an internal bandgap reference. When the output drops below the target, the amplifier increases gate drive to the PMOS, reducing its resistance and raising the output.
