The NCP114ASN330T1G is a 3.3V 300mA LDO from onsemi in DFN-4 (0.84×0.84mm), one of the smallest LDO packages available. Its key differentiator is ultra-low quiescent current of 3uA (typical), making it ideal for always-on battery-powered applications where standby current dominates battery life. The PMOS pass transistor provides ground current of only 3uA that does not increase with load current, unlike NPN LDOs. Dropout voltage is 250mV at 300mA, requiring VIN >= 3.55V for 3.3V output. The EN pin (active HIGH, internal pull-up) enables the output when left floating, and shuts it down with 0.1uA quiescent current when pulled LOW. The 330 in the part number encodes the output voltage: 3.3V fixed. The DFN-4 package (0.84mm x 0.84mm) is 90% smaller than SOT-23-5, critical for wearable and IoT devices where PCB area is at a premium. Despite the tiny package, the thermal performance is acceptable due to the low 300mA maximum current: at 300mA with 250mV dropout, power dissipation is only 75mW. The output requires only a 0.47uF ceramic capacitor for stability, compatible with the smallest 0201 capacitor packages. PSRR is 60dB at 1kHz. The T1G suffix denotes automotive AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualification (-40C to +150C junction).
