The onsemi NCP1117DT33RKG is a 1A low-dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator providing a fixed 3.3V output. With a maximum dropout voltage of 1.2V at 800mA, it can operate from input voltages up to 20V. The DPAK package provides excellent thermal performance for applications requiring moderate output current.

The onsemi NCP1117DT33RKG is a 1A LDO linear regulator providing a fixed 3.3V output with ±1% accuracy. As a direct replacement for the industry-standard LM1117, it features low dropout voltage (1.2V max at 800mA), internal current limiting, and thermal shutdown protection. The DPAK package provides good thermal dissipation for the 1A output current capability.

The NCP1117DT33RKG uses a PNP pass transistor in a low-dropout configuration, allowing the output voltage to be maintained with only 1.2V of headroom at 800mA load. The internal bandgap reference provides the ±1% output voltage accuracy. On-chip trimming during manufacturing ensures the output voltage is within specification. The current limiting circuit protects against output short circuits, while the thermal shutdown activates at approximately 150°C junction temperature to prevent damage.
