The MBR130T1G from onsemi is a 1A 30V Schottky rectifier in SOD-123 package with low 0.38V forward voltage for power supply and reverse polarity protection.

The MBR130T1G is a 1A 30V Schottky rectifier from onsemi in SOD-123 package. The low 30V rating makes it optimized for low-voltage DC-DC converter output rectification and reverse polarity protection in 3.3V and 5V systems. The forward voltage drop is 0.35V at 1A at 25C, one of the lowest available in a SOD-123 package, minimizing conduction losses in battery-powered applications. The zero reverse recovery time (no minority carrier storage in Schottky junctions) eliminates switching losses, making it suitable for high-frequency (up to 1MHz) buck converter freewheeling and boost converter output stages. The reverse leakage current is 0.5mA at 30V at 25C, increasing to approximately 10mA at 125C. The maximum junction temperature is 125C. The SOD-123 package provides 300C/W thermal resistance junction-to-ambient, limiting continuous dissipation to approximately 250mW at 25C ambient. The -T1G suffix specifies SOD-123, lead-free, tape-and-reel (5000 pcs). The SOD-123 is smaller than SMA (2.7 x 1.6mm vs 5.2 x 2.6mm), making it ideal for compact DC-DC converter layouts. Applications include: boost converter output diode for 3.3V-to-5V conversion, buck converter freewheeling diode, and reverse polarity protection for 5V USB-powered devices.
