The MAX4886ETO+T is a USB 2.0 high-speed (480Mbps) dual SPDT switch from Analog Devices for USB signal routing and sharing applications. With only 6pF on-capacitance and 5 ohm on-resistance, it provides minimal signal degradation for high-speed USB 2.0 data transmission. The 900MHz minimum bandwidth and break-before-make switching ensure reliable USB signal integrity in port sharing and routing designs.

The MAX4886 uses low-capacitance MOSFET switches to route USB D+ and D- signal pairs between two possible destinations. The dual SPDT configuration allows a single USB host port to connect to one of two USB devices (or vice versa). Break-before-make switching prevents momentary short circuits between the two output ports. The low 6pF on-capacitance and 5 ohm on-resistance ensure that the USB 2.0 high-speed signal integrity is maintained with minimal eye diagram degradation.
