The LMS7002M from Lime Microsystems is a 100kHz-3.8GHz 2×2 MIMO RF transceiver for SDR applications, offering 160MHz bandwidth, 12-bit ADC/DAC, and programmable baseband in a BGA-256 package.

The LMS7002M integrates two complete TX chains and two complete RX chains. On the receive side, the RF input is amplified by a programmable LNA, downconverted by a mixer driven by the on-chip PLL, filtered by programmable baseband filters, and digitized by 12-bit ADCs. On the transmit side, 12-bit DACs generate baseband signals that are upconverted and amplified. The SPI interface configures all parameters including frequency, gain, bandwidth, and filter settings. The 2×2 MIMO architecture enables simultaneous dual-channel operation for diversity or spatial multiplexing.
