The K5B RH 4X4X2 is an EMI suppression ferrite bead core from Kingcore’s RH series. Using K5B ferrite material, this bead core provides effective high-frequency impedance for suppressing electromagnetic interference on cables and wire assemblies. The compact dimensions (4mm OD, 2mm ID, 4mm length) make it suitable for installation on individual signal wires or small cable bundles. K5B material offers excellent impedance characteristics across a broad frequency range, making it ideal for noise filtering in high-speed digital applications.

The ferrite bead core operates by surrounding a conductor with a lossy magnetic material. At low frequencies, the core presents low impedance and allows signals to pass with minimal attenuation. As frequency increases, the ferrite material’s complex permeability causes the impedance to rise significantly, with the resistive component converting high-frequency noise energy into heat. The K5B material formulation is optimized for maximum impedance in the 25-1000MHz range, providing effective EMI suppression without affecting signal integrity at operating frequencies.
