The IRLR8726TRPBF from Infineon (International Rectifier) is a 30V N-channel logic-level power MOSFET with 9.5mOhm maximum on-resistance at VGS=4.5V and 7.8mOhm at VGS=10V in a DPAK (TO-252) package. The 18A continuous drain current and 12nC typical gate charge make it ideal for high-efficiency DC-DC converters and load switch applications. The logic-level gate drive allows direct control from 3.3V or 5V microcontrollers without gate drivers. The device operates from -55C to +175C junction temperature.

The IRLR8726TRPBF uses trench-gate MOSFET technology optimized for logic-level operation. (1) Trench Gate: Deep trench structures create narrow gate electrodes with maximum channel density, achieving low RDS(on) per die area. (2) Logic Level: The thin gate oxide and optimized channel doping allow full enhancement at VGS=4.5V, enabling direct MCU drive. (3) Low Gate Charge: The 12nC typical gate charge minimizes switching losses in high-frequency DC-DC converters. (4) Body Diode: The intrinsic body diode provides freewheeling capability for synchronous rectification applications.
