The C1608X7R1C104K080AB uses TDK’s multi-layer ceramic capacitor technology with X7R (Class II) dielectric. Multiple barium titanate-based dielectric layers are interleaved with nickel internal electrodes and co-fired into a monolithic structure. The X7R formulation provides ±15% capacitance stability over the -55°C to +125°C range, making it suitable for decoupling in automotive and industrial environments. The nickel barrier and tin termination provide reliable soldering.
