The C-20AGKF-3000 is a thermal cutoff fuse providing one-time overtemperature protection for power supplies, motors, transformers, and appliances in a compact axial leaded package.

The thermal fuse contains a fusible alloy element that melts at a precisely calibrated temperature. Under normal operating conditions, the alloy conducts current. When the ambient temperature exceeds the rated cutoff temperature, the alloy melts and a spring mechanism separates the contacts, permanently opening the circuit. Unlike PTC devices, thermal fuses are one-time devices and must be replaced after activation.
