The BD70522GUL-E2 from ROHM is a 500mA buck DC-DC, 2.5-17V, 180nA Iq, CSP-10. It is designed for automotive and industrial applications requiring high reliability and efficient power management.

The DC-DC converter uses current mode PWM control. The error amplifier compares the output feedback with an internal reference. The PWM comparator controls the on-time of the internal power MOSFET. Current mode control provides fast transient response and cycle-by-cycle current limiting.
