The ferrite bead uses a sintered ferrite material around a conductor. At low frequencies (DC), it behaves as a low-resistance conductor (0.1 Ohm). At high frequencies (100MHz), the ferrite material exhibits high impedance (600 Ohm) due to its frequency-dependent complex permeability, converting high-frequency noise energy into heat. This selectively blocks EMI while allowing DC and low-frequency signals to pass.
