The BSS84LT1G from onsemi is a P-Channel logic-level enhancement mode power MOSFET designed for low-power switching applications. With a -50V drain-source voltage rating and -130 mA continuous drain current, this device is ideal for load switching and power management in portable and battery-powered products. The SOT-23 package minimizes board space while providing reliable performance. It is widely used as a high-side switch in DC-DC converters and battery management circuits.

The BSS84LT1G operates as a voltage-controlled switch. When a negative gate-source voltage exceeding the threshold is applied, an inversion layer forms in the P-channel, allowing current to flow from source to drain. As a logic-level MOSFET, it can be driven directly from 3.3V or 5V logic. The device features low gate charge for efficient high-frequency switching and low on-resistance for minimal conduction losses.
