The ADA4075-2ARZ from Analog Devices is a dual-channel, 36V, precision operational amplifier in a SOIC-8 package. The device combines low input offset voltage (100uV max, B grade), low voltage noise (7nV/sqrtHz typical), and low input bias current (0.5nA typical) to deliver precision DC and AC performance in a wide supply voltage range of +/-2.5V to +/-18V. The 2.1MHz gain bandwidth product and 1.2V/us slew rate support moderate-bandwidth precision applications including active filters, integrators, and transimpedance amplifiers. The 0.5nA input bias current enables accurate signal conditioning from high-impedance sources such as photodiodes, pH probes, and piezoelectric sensors. The device is unity-gain stable and features a wide common-mode input voltage range that includes the negative rail. The SOIC-8 package provides a standard dual op-amp footprint compatible with industry-standard pinouts for easy upgrades from older precision op-amps.

The ADA4075-2ARZ uses a precision complementary bipolar input stage for low noise and low offset. (1) Input Stage: A super-beta NPN differential pair with active load provides the low 7nV/sqrtHz voltage noise and 100uV max offset. The super-beta transistors have high current gain (beta > 1000), reducing input bias current to 0.5nA typical. Input offset is laser-trimmed during manufacturing to achieve the 100uV maximum specification. (2) Gain Stage: A high-gain voltage amplifier stage with active load provides the open-loop gain of approximately 120dB. (3) Output Stage: A class-AB complementary emitter follower provides the output drive capability, with typical short-circuit current of +/-25mA. The output swings to within 1.2V of either supply rail. (4) Compensation: Internal dominant-pole compensation provides unity-gain stability with a 2.1MHz gain-bandwidth product. (5) ESD Protection: Input and output ESD protection diodes clamp voltage excursions without degrading the precision performance.
