The TPSMCJ5.0A is an AEC-Q101 qualified 1500W unidirectional TVS diode in SMC package with 5V standoff and 9.2V max clamping for automotive and industrial 5V bus protection.

Below the 5V standoff voltage, the TVS diode presents high impedance with only 200uA leakage. When a transient exceeds the 5.55-6.18V breakdown voltage, the device avalanches and clamps the voltage to a maximum of 9.2V at the peak pulse current of 162A.
