The TI TLV62569DDCR is a 2A synchronous step-down DC-DC converter in the ultra-compact SOT-23-6 package, optimized for Li-ion powered portable devices. The 1.5MHz switching frequency and 0.6V reference enable small solution size and sub-1V output voltages for modern MCU and FPGA cores.

The TLV62569DDCR uses DCS-Control (Direct Control with Seamless transition) topology combining voltage-mode and current-mode control. In PWM mode, it operates at 1.5MHz fixed frequency for low output ripple. In PFM mode at light loads, the switching frequency decreases to maintain efficiency, drawing only 35uA quiescent current. The 100% duty cycle mode allows the high-side MOSFET to stay on continuously in dropout, providing the lowest possible VIN-VOUT differential.
