The ART Accelerator with 16 KB L1 instruction/data cache enables zero-wait-state execution from both embedded Flash and external memories. With 2 MB dual-bank Flash and 512 KB SRAM (including 128 KB DTCM for real-time data and 16 KB ITCM for time-critical routines), it provides ample memory for complex applications. The device integrates a rich set of graphics peripherals including Chrom-ART Accelerator (DMA2D), hardware JPEG codec, LCD-TFT controller, and MIPI DSI host, making it ideal for human-machine interface applications.

The STM32F767ZIT6 is built on ST’s 90 nm process technology. The Cortex-M7 core with 6-stage superscalar pipeline executes up to two instructions per cycle. The DPFPU supports IEEE 754 double-precision and single-precision floating-point operations in hardware. The ART Accelerator contains a dynamic instruction prefetch queue, branch cache, and 16 KB L1 cache that eliminates wait states when executing from Flash at 216 MHz. The multi-AHB bus matrix and multi-layer AXI interconnect provide concurrent access to memories and peripherals. The Chrom-ART Accelerator (DMA2D) performs image fill, copy, and format conversion independently of the CPU. The LCD-TFT controller drives display panels up to XGA resolution with a programmable timing generator and dual-layer overlay support.
