The STM32F429IGT6 executes from Flash through the ART Accelerator, which uses instruction and data caches plus a prefetch queue to achieve zero-wait-state performance at 180MHz. The Chrom-ART Accelerator (DMA2D) offloads the CPU by performing 2D memory-to-memory transfers, color format conversion, and alpha blending for LCD framebuffer operations. The LCD-TFT controller generates timing signals and pixel data for direct-drive TFT displays up to 83MHz pixel clock. The FMC provides a 32-bit external bus interface to SDRAM, SRAM, and Flash memories, enabling large framebuffer storage in external SDRAM.
