Product Overview
The PS2501-1 from Renesas Electronics (formerly NEC) is a 1-channel photocoupler (optocoupler) consisting of a gallium arsenide infrared LED optically coupled to a silicon phototransistor. It provides electrical isolation of up to 5000Vrms between input and output, making it ideal for signal isolation in SMPS feedback loops, industrial control, and communication interfaces. Packaged in a DIP-4 through-hole package.
