The PB-12N23P-03Q is a 12mm piezoelectric sounder element with external drive for flexible audio alert generation in compact PCB-mounted applications.

The piezoelectric element uses a ceramic disc that vibrates when an AC voltage is applied. The vibration frequency determines the output tone, with maximum SPL at the resonant frequency (~2.3kHz). An external drive circuit provides the AC signal, allowing frequency and amplitude control. The piezo element converts electrical energy directly to mechanical vibration without a coil.
