The P6SMB180A is a 600W unidirectional TVS diode in SMB package with 180V standoff and 292V max clamping voltage for DC power line surge and ESD protection.

Under normal conditions (below 180V), the TVS diode presents very high impedance with only 1uA leakage. When a transient voltage exceeds the breakdown voltage (200-222V), the device avalanches and clamps the voltage to a maximum of 292V at the peak pulse current of 2.1A.
