Product Overview
The NE555DR from Texas Instruments is a precision single timer IC in an SOIC-8 package capable of producing accurate time delays or oscillation. In monostable mode, the timed interval is controlled by a single external resistor and capacitor network. In astable mode, the frequency and duty cycle are independently controlled with two external resistors and a single capacitor.
