The MSP430F5419AIPZR is a Texas Instruments MSP430F5xx series 16-bit ultra-low-power mixed-signal microcontroller with 128KB Flash, 16KB SRAM, and 25MHz CPU speed. The 16-bit RISC architecture with constant generators achieves high code efficiency and fast execution. The 12-bit SAR ADC provides 14 external channels with internal reference, sample-and-hold, and auto-scan feature for multi-channel acquisition. Four USCI modules (USCI_A0-A3 and USCI_B0-B3) each support UART with auto-baud, IrDA, SPI, and I2C, providing extensive communication flexibility. The 3-channel DMA controller transfers data between memory and peripherals without CPU intervention, reducing power consumption. The hardware multiplier supports 32-bit operations for efficient DSP-like calculations. Ultra-low-power modes include LPM3 at 1.7uA with full RAM retention and 3.5us wakeup, and LPM4.5 at 0.1uA. Packaged in 100-pin LQFP rated for -40C to +85C.

The MSP430F5419A uses a 16-bit RISC CPU with a two-stage instruction pipeline, executing most instructions in a single clock cycle. The digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) provides the main system clock (MCLK) up to 25MHz with fast 3.5us wakeup from low-power modes. The unified clock system includes FLL for frequency stabilization, low-frequency crystal oscillator (XT1), and high-frequency crystal up to 32MHz. The power management module (PMM) with integrated LDO regulates the core voltage for optimal power efficiency across the 1.8V to 3.6V supply range. The ADC12 uses a successive approximation register architecture with a configurable sample-and-hold timer. The USCI modules implement UART/SPI/I2C with independent baud rate generators. The DMA controller supports block, burst, and single transfers triggered by peripheral events. Low-power modes progressively disable clocks and analog peripherals, with LPM4.5 shutting down the PMM for absolute minimum current.
