The ME6211A33PG-N is a low-dropout linear regulator from Microne, providing a fixed 3.3V output at up to 300mA. With an ultra-low quiescent current of just 1.5uA and a dropout voltage of 200mV at 150mA, it is optimized for battery-powered applications where power efficiency and long operating life are critical. The +/-1% output accuracy, 65dB PSRR, and 30uVrms output noise make it suitable for noise-sensitive loads including RF modules and precision ADCs. The SOT-89-3 package provides compact size with adequate thermal dissipation.

The ME6211A33PG-N operates as a series-pass linear regulator using a P-channel MOSFET as the pass element. The error amplifier compares a fraction of the output voltage (via an internal resistor divider) with an internal bandgap reference voltage. The amplifier output drives the PMOS gate to regulate the output voltage. The low 1.5uA quiescent current is achieved by biasing the error amplifier and bandgap reference at minimal current levels while maintaining regulation stability. The P-channel MOSFET allows the dropout voltage to be very low (200mV at 150mA) since the gate can be driven below the source. PSRR of 65dB at 1kHz is achieved by the high open-loop gain of the error amplifier rejecting input supply variations. The current limit circuit senses the pass transistor current and reduces the gate drive when the limit is exceeded. Thermal shutdown activates at approximately 150C junction temperature, turning off the pass transistor until the junction cools below the hysteresis threshold.
