The LTC2471CDD#PBF is a 16-bit Delta-Sigma ADC from Analog Devices with differential input and I2C interface. Operating from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply at only 800uA, it achieves 16-bit no missing codes performance at 880sps output rate. The integrated oscillator eliminates the need for an external clock, and the tiny 3x3mm DFN package minimizes board space in portable applications.

The LTC2471 uses a third-order Delta-Sigma modulator followed by a digital decimation filter to achieve 16-bit resolution. The differential input architecture provides excellent common-mode rejection. The internal oscillator generates the modulator clock, eliminating external timing components. Conversion results are available through the I2C interface, which also controls the conversion rate and power-down modes. The device automatically performs offset and gain self-calibration on each conversion cycle.
