The LT1801CS8#TRPBF is a dual low-power high-speed rail-to-rail input and output precision operational amplifier from Analog Devices (formerly Linear Technology). It combines 80 MHz bandwidth with 25 V/µs slew rate and excellent DC precision including 350 µV max input offset voltage and 250 nA max input bias current. The rail-to-rail input and output capability maximizes signal dynamic range in low-voltage applications. The device is specified for supply voltages from 2.3V to 12.6V and can be used as a plug-in replacement for many standard dual op amps to improve performance.

The LT1801 uses a complementary input stage with both NPN and PNP differential pairs to achieve rail-to-rail input common-mode range. When the input voltage is near the negative rail, the PNP pair is active; near the positive rail, the NPN pair takes over. The output stage uses a complementary push-pull configuration that swings within 20 mV of either supply rail under light load. The amplifier is frequency-compensated for unity-gain stability, achieving 80 MHz GBW. Internal trimming ensures low offset voltage without external adjustment. The 8.5 nV/sqrt(Hz) input voltage noise density makes it suitable for precision signal conditioning.
