The LT1790ACS6-3#TRMPBF is a micropower 3.0V series voltage reference from Analog Devices with +/-0.05% initial accuracy and 10ppm/C max temperature coefficient. Drawing only 35uA supply current, it can source up to 5mA and sink 3mA with 100mV max dropout. The post-package trimmed thin-film resistors ensure high accuracy and low drift, while the ability to sink current enables use as a negative voltage reference.

The LT1790 uses a curvature-compensated bandgap reference core with post-package trimming to achieve +/-0.05% initial accuracy and 10ppm/C temperature drift. The series reference topology sources and sinks current, unlike shunt references that waste idle current. Low thermal hysteresis (40ppm typical) ensures accuracy is maintained after temperature cycling. The low 35uA supply current and 100mV dropout make it ideal for battery-powered applications.
