The LT1761ES5-3.3#TRPBF is an ultra-low noise micropower LDO regulator from Analog Devices providing a fixed 3.3V output at up to 100mA. With only 20uV RMS output noise over the 10Hz to 100kHz bandwidth and 340mV dropout voltage at full load, this device is ideal for noise-sensitive RF and analog applications. The tiny SOT-23 package and 20uA quiescent current make it perfect for battery-powered and space-constrained designs.

The LT1761 uses a PNP pass transistor in a low-dropout configuration, allowing the input voltage to be very close to the output voltage while maintaining regulation. A single 1uF ceramic capacitor on the output provides stability and noise filtering. The internal reference and error amplifier maintain tight output voltage regulation. The shutdown pin reduces current consumption to 0.5uA for power-saving modes. Reverse battery protection and current limiting provide robust fault protection.
