The KTI225IT is a Kioxia BiCS FLASH 3D TLC NAND flash memory device built on Kioxia’s industry-leading 3D flash technology. Using vertical charge storage cell architecture, BiCS FLASH delivers significantly higher bit density and reliability compared to planar NAND, enabling compact high-capacity storage solutions for embedded, industrial, automotive, and consumer applications.

The KTI225IT operates using 3D BiCS FLASH technology where NAND memory cells are stacked vertically in multiple layers (typically 96+ layers), each storing 3 bits per cell (TLC). Data is accessed through page-read and page-program operations with block-erase granularity. An on-chip page register buffers data during read/write operations. The Toggle DDR or ONFi interface provides high-bandwidth communication with the flash controller. Internal ECC and read-retry mechanisms ensure data integrity over the device lifetime.
