The HCX-1AB-27.120000-F-8-G-10-10-R is a 27.12MHz HCMOS crystal oscillator in a 5.0 x 3.2mm ceramic SMD package. The 27.12MHz frequency is specifically allocated in the ITU Region 1 ISM band for short-range device applications including RFID interrogators, dielectric heating equipment, and RF plasma generators. The HCMOS output provides rail-to-rail voltage swings with fast rise/fall times, suitable for driving clock inputs on RFID reader ICs, digital PLLs, and frequency synthesizers. The 3.3V supply voltage matches the I/O voltage of modern FPGAs, MCUs, and RF transceiver ICs.

The HCX series integrates an AT-cut quartz crystal and a CMOS oscillator circuit in a hermetically sealed ceramic package. The internal oscillator drives the crystal at its fundamental resonance and converts the sinusoidal oscillation to an HCMOS-compatible square wave output with fast rise/fall times suitable for driving clock inputs on digital ICs. The 27.12MHz frequency is generated by a fundamental-mode AT-cut crystal that provides excellent frequency stability over the operating temperature range.
