The STM32F401RBT6 is a high-performance access-line microcontroller from the STM32F401 family. Based on the ARM Cortex-M4 core with FPU at 84MHz, it delivers 105 DMIPS performance with DSP instruction support. The ART Accelerator allows 0-wait-state execution from Flash, fully utilizing the CPU’s processing power. With 128KB Flash and 64KB SRAM, it provides ample memory for complex applications. The USB 2.0 FS OTG with on-chip PHY eliminates the need for an external USB transceiver, reducing BOM cost and board space.

The Cortex-M4F core executes Thumb-2 instructions with a 3-stage pipeline. The FPU accelerates floating-point calculations in a single cycle for most operations, critical for sensor fusion and signal processing. The ART Accelerator uses an instruction prefetch queue and branch cache to eliminate Flash wait states at 84MHz. The bus matrix connects the CPU to memories and peripherals through AHB and APB buses. The DMA controller offloads data transfers between peripherals and memory. Power management supports multiple low-power modes: Sleep, Stop (Flash in deep power-down: 10µA), and Standby (2.4µA) for battery-powered applications.
