The RK73B1JTTD103J is a KOA Speer AEC-Q200 qualified thick film chip resistor in a 0603 (1608 metric) package. Featuring 10kΩ resistance with ±5% tolerance, 0.1W power rating at 70°C, and ±200ppm/°C temperature coefficient, it uses metal glaze thick film on ceramic substrate for excellent heat and weather resistance. The anti-sulfuration terminal construction prevents silver sulfide formation in sulfur-contaminated environments, making it ideal for automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications. The 3-layer electrode structure (inner electrode / Ni barrier / Sn plating) ensures high reliability and solderability.

The RK73B1JTTD103J operates as a fixed thick film resistor using metal glaze thick film deposited on an alumina ceramic substrate. The resistive element is a metal-oxide-glass composite (metal glaze) that provides excellent thermal stability and environmental resistance. The resistance value of 10kΩ is determined by the composition, thickness, and pattern of the thick film layer. Laser trimming adjusts the value to within ±5% tolerance. The TCR of ±200ppm/°C means the resistance changes by no more than 0.02% per degree Celsius, or ±2% over the full -55°C to +155°C range. The anti-sulfuration feature uses a terminal construction that resists silver sulfide formation, preventing resistance drift in sulfur-rich environments. Power derating is linear from 100% at 70°C to 0% at 155°C terminal temperature.
