Featuring 150Ω resistance with ±5% tolerance, 0.25W power rating at 70°C, ±200ppm/°C temperature coefficient, and 200V maximum working voltage, it uses metal glaze thick film on ceramic substrate for excellent heat and weather resistance. The moisture-resistant construction and 3-layer electrode structure ensure high reliability in automotive under-hood and industrial environments. The 1206 package provides a good balance between power handling and PCB area for current-limiting, LED ballast, and gate drive applications.

The RK73B2BTTD151J operates as a fixed thick film resistor using metal glaze thick film deposited on an alumina ceramic substrate. The resistive element is a metal-oxide-glass composite that provides excellent thermal stability and environmental resistance. The resistance value of 150Ω is determined by the composition, thickness, and pattern of the thick film layer, with laser trimming achieving ±5% tolerance. The TCR of ±200ppm/°C means the resistance changes by no more than 0.02% per degree Celsius, or ±2% over the full -55°C to +155°C range. The 1206 package size provides sufficient surface area for 0.25W power dissipation with standard FR-4 PCB copper area. Power derating is linear from 100% at 70°C to 0% at 155°C. The moisture-resistant construction ensures stable resistance in high-humidity environments.
