The PC410L0NIP0F from Sharp (now Renesas) is a high-speed OPIC photocoupler designed for fast and reliable digital signal isolation. The OPIC output stage integrates a photo-diode and amplifier circuit, providing logic-level output compatible with standard CMOS/TTL interfaces. With a typical data rate of 10Mbps and propagation delays under 50ns, it outperforms conventional phototransistor optocouplers. The high CMR of 10kV/us ensures reliable operation in noisy industrial environments with fast voltage transients.

The PC410L0NIP0F uses an integrated OPIC output stage. When the input LED is forward-biased, it emits infrared light detected by an integrated photo-diode. The photo-diode current is amplified by an internal transimpedance amplifier and output driver, producing a logic-level output signal with typical propagation delays of 48-50ns. The high CMR is achieved through careful internal shielding that minimizes capacitive coupling during fast common-mode transients.
