The LTM4637EV#PBF from Analog Devices is a 20A DC-DC step-down uModule regulator with integrated inductor and capacitors, accepting 4.5-26.5V input in a compact BGA package.

The LTM4637EV#PBF is a dual 20A DC-DC uModule (micromodule) step-down regulator from Analog Devices in BGA package (16×15.8×5.22mm), supporting 4.5-26.5V input and 0.6-1.8V output. The uModule integrates the switching controller, power MOSFETs, inductor, and supporting components in a single BGA package, requiring only external input/output capacitors and a few resistors for a complete DC-DC solution. Each channel delivers 20A independently, or the two channels can be paralleled for 40A output with current sharing via the SHARE pin. The device uses peak current mode control with external compensation (COMP pins) for flexibility. The switching frequency is programmable from 250kHz to 1MHz via a single resistor, and multiple devices can be synchronized via CLKIN/CLKOUT. The PGOOD pin indicates when both outputs are within +/-10% of target. The RUN pins provide independent enable for each channel. The soft-start (SS) pins control output voltage ramp-up time. The temperature monitor (TEMP) pin provides an analog voltage proportional to junction temperature (1.6V at 25C, -5.4mV/C). The -EV#PBF suffix specifies BGA, lead-free. The uModule dramatically reduces design time and PCB area compared to discrete solutions. Applications include: FPGA core power, ASIC power, and server/memory power rails.
