The LM2903AVQDR is a dual differential comparator from Texas Instruments qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 1 standards for automotive applications. It consists of two independent voltage comparators designed to operate from a single power supply over a wide range of voltages from 2V to 32V. The A-grade device features a maximum input offset voltage of 2mV at 25°C, providing improved accuracy for precision threshold detection. The open-collector output configuration allows wired-OR connections for multi-channel monitoring. The device maintains stable performance across the full automotive temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, making it suitable for under-hood and cabin electronics.

The LM2903AVQDR consists of two independent comparators, each comparing two input voltages and producing an output that indicates which input is larger. The non-inverting input (+) is compared against the inverting input (-). When the voltage at the non-inverting input exceeds the inverting input, the internal output transistor turns off (open-collector), allowing an external pull-up resistor to pull the output high. Conversely, when the inverting input is higher, the output transistor turns on, pulling the output low. The open-collector architecture enables wired-OR connections where multiple comparator outputs share a single pull-up resistor, creating an OR logic function for multi-threshold monitoring without additional logic gates.
